iOS 11 does not support These Devices

With iOS 11, Apple has dropped support for all the 32-bit app. It also means that all the iPhone, iPad, and the iPod Touch devices powered by a 32-bit chipset have also been dropped off the list of iOS 11 supported devices. So, with the release of iOS 11 later this year, it will not support the following iPhone, iPad, and the iPod Touch devices:

  • iPhone 5
  • iPhone 5c
  • iPad 3
  • iPad 4

iOS 11 Compatible Devices

With iOS 11, Apple continues to support all the devices that were compatible with the previous iOS 10 update. Here is the list of iOS 11 compatible iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch Devices.

iOS 11 supports the following iPhone models:

  • iPhone 7
  • iPhone 7 Plus
  • iPhone 6s
  • iPhone 6s Plus
  • iPhone 6

iOS 11 supports the following iPad models:

There are some features of iOS that would not work on all the compatible devices. For example, Apple Pay Cash peer-to-peer feature will be available on the following devices in the US:
