iOS 11.1.1 Download – Fixes AutoCorrect Bug for iPhone and iPad

Apple has officially released iOS 11.1.1 IPSW for compatible iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch devices. This firmware update is meant to being bug fixes, performance improvements, and behind-the-scenes changes. However, the main objective of this software release is to fix “I” to “A[?]” bug. The built-in autocorrect annoyingly changed the “I” to “A[?]” automatically. While the bug seems to be a minor issue, but it spread quickly and was annoying enough that internet was full of users complaining about it. Although it did not affect all the devices, it certainly was enough.

The official change-log of iOS 11.1.1 also mentions that the software update also fixes a bug that stopped “Hey Siri” feature for some users during routine day usage. Thos who ran into this Siri related issue won’t experience it after installing this new update.

You can install iOS 11.1.1 update by going to Settings > General > Software update as an over-the-air update. You also have the option to clean install iOS 11.1.1 on your device.
